How to store your christmas decorations

The Kings day has passed and so it’s time to begin packing away all your Christmas decorations.

It’s easier to decorate our homes with beautiful Christmas lights than to pack them away. Don't let this cause stress. We are here to help!

Storing festive season decorations

• Make sure to wrap all glass baubles in bubble wrap so that it won’t break or damage. You can find these wrapping items in our sites!
• Remeber to keep your Christmas tree box! It will be helpful when packing it away, since it will give you a straight base and an extra box to put less fragile decorations.
• Wrap your string lights around a piece of cardboard. This will help stop the lights from becoming tangled and you’ll save a lot of storage space.
• Tinsel has the tendency to get wrapped up in other decorations and it can become impossible to unravel. Store tinsel in a plastic bottle (cut the top of the bottle off).
• Wrap all the Christmas figures (baby Jesus, crib etc) with bubble wrap and put some on either side of each level to stop them cracking

Use self storage! You’ll save plenty of space at home and you’ll be able to rest assured that your items are looked after for next years!

All these decorations can be expensive to buy new ones every year! The environment will also thank you!
